Book Lover's Vacation: Paris, France

Paris - The City of Light, of Love, and of Literature. I mean, who wouldn't want to visit a place that has inspired so many great works of art and literature? As an avid reader, Paris had been calling my name since I first picked up Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans. When I finally had the opportunity to visit during my Junior year, I jumped at the chance.

And let me tell you, Paris did not disappoint. The entire city was a dream come true, with its winding streets and romantic balconies. It's no wonder that authors and artists have found endless inspiration in this city. As I strolled through the streets, I couldn't help but imagine the scenes of my favorite romance novels playing out in front of me, while at night, the same streets took on a mysterious aura that would be perfect for a classic Noir detective story.

If you're a bookworm like me, you'll want to read these Paris-set novels that capture the city's unique charm and beauty:

The Paris Wife: Paula McLain

Paula McLain

The Nightingale: Kristin Hannah

Kristin Hannah

Paris Was the Place: Susan Conley

Susan Conley

Hunting and Gathering: Gavalda, Anna

Gavalda, Anna

As always, Happy Reading!

xoxo- Erica
